*Mr. Kitchel served as Chief Deputy Assessor for three years, then as Cochise County Treasurer from 1931-1934 (when the county seat moved from Tombstone to Bisbee). In 1935, he became Clerk of the Cochise County Superior Court and, in 1957, served in the Arizona State Senate. Mr. Kitchel retired in 1969.
